Alex Harvey of Everything Alabama has recently posted an interview with True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse).
“Tonight's episode will be the series' fifth, and HBO has already picked "True Blood" - based on Charlaine Harris' book series about Southern vampires going public and finding acceptance difficult - for a second season. "It was great news to get so early," Kwanten says. "It's a great vote of confidence from HBO." And despite some close calls already - both with the law and with his health - Jason will return in the second season, Kwanten says. "That much I can tell you," he says. "I'll be back. But Jason has a huge arc. He goes into the first episodes with tunnelvision views and hates the idea that these vampires represent change. He's in for a rollercoaster ride. He's just one of those guys that shoots from his hip pocket. Trouble constantly finds him, and he gets involved in the vampire world." “
